Bartın University Cognitive Research Laboratory (BÜBAL) was established in 2022. Our laboratory aims primarily to equip students with theoretical and practical educational skills by training undergraduate students to a high standard of scientific quality and with up-to-date methodological knowledge, in line with our university’s educational and teaching objectives. In line with this, our students gain experience in designing, conducting and completing research by utilising the laboratory facilities for their final-year dissertations, in addition to their theoretical coursework. Furthermore, by providing consultancy to students applying for the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students’ Research Projects Support Programme, the laboratory offers students the opportunity to gain project experience.

Beyond educational and teaching activities, BÜBAL serves not only as a laboratory where faculty members from the Department of Psychology conduct research and development activities but is also open to collaboration and use by researchers both within and outside the institution.
