Responsibilities of the Departmental Quality Commission

  • To prepare the Department’s strategic plan,
  • To ensure the evaluation of academic and administrative services, the enhancement of quality, and the implementation of all necessary work in line with the Department’s strategic plan and objectives, as well as during the accreditation process,
  • To prepare the Unit Internal Evaluation Report,
  • To make the necessary preparations for certification and subsequent evaluation work to be carried out by independent evaluation bodies regarding the Quality Management System within the Unit; to provide all necessary support to these bodies,
  • To communicate the Quality Commission’s decisions to the relevant departments, programmes and sub-units of the Unit; to contribute to their implementation and monitor the outcomes,
  • To submit the annual report they prepare regarding their activities to the Quality Commission by the end of January,
  • To carry out any other necessary work in accordance with this Directive and the procedures and principles determined by the Quality Commission.
