"Within the scope of TÜBİTAK's "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program", 6 of our projects have been accepted.

The results of the applications for the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program," conducted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programs (BİDEB), for the 2023/1 period have been announced.
 
We congratulate the success of the following projects prepared by students from our department:

"Quality of Sexual Life of Women who Experienced Sexual Abuse in Childhood: The Role of Opening Oneself," prepared by Sezgin Çevikbaş and Serkan Kurtar under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Emel Genç.
 
"Examining the Experiences of Individuals Developing Secondary Trauma through Social Media After Earthquakes: A Qualitative Study," prepared by Betül Çuhadar, İmren Karanalbant, and Şeyda Meral under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Nur Funda BAŞER BAYKAL.
 
"Examination of the Experiences and Coping Methods of Healthcare Workers Exposed to Violence: A Qualitative Study," prepared by Merve Sude Yener under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Nur Funda BAŞER BAYKAL.
 
"Comparison of Auditory and Visual Modalities in Terms of Memory Processes: A Neuropsychological Evaluation Study," prepared by Esra Özcan, Ezgi Sezer, and Özlem Özmen under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Ersin YAVAŞ.
 
"Level of Intimacy in Romantic Relationships of Individuals Experiencing Childhood Traumas," prepared by Halil Köseler under the supervision of Lec. Özge Keleş.
 
"Effect of Psychological Symptoms and Sleep Quality on Driver Behaviors in Professional Drivers," prepared by Akça Akay under the supervision of Lec.Tuncay ÇORAK.

  • A seminar titled "Supported Employment and Psychology" was organized for our students by Psychologist Alperen Aşanbuğa.

  • An event titled "A Historical Approach to Animal Experiments in Psychology and Specific Behavioral Models" was organized by our department's Asst. Prof. Ersin Yavaş

  • The ERA-NET NEURON Project presented by our department's Asst. Prof. Ersin Yavaş has become the first study accepted under the coordination of Turkey.

  • The Psychology Club held a Meet and Greet Event!

  • A seminar titled "Career Planning - Becoming a Psychologist at the Provincial Health Directorate" was organized for our students by Psychologist Ersin Susoy.

  • An event titled 'Eating and Body Issues in Women's Health' was organized for our department by Asst. Prof. Elif Ergüney Okumuş.

  • Our Department Conducted an Orientation Event for Newly Enrolled Students.
